We are seeking a highly experienced Electrician (Site DG & Power Supply) to join our team for a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in ADNOC Oil & Gas projects, with expertise in diesel generator (DG) systems, power supply management, electrical piping, and shutdown procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, Testing, and Commissioning: Install, test, and commission electrical systems related to DG sets, power supply, and associated equipment on-site.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of DG sets, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
Shutdown Operations: Execute planned shutdowns for electrical systems as per approved procedures, ensuring safety and minimal operational downtime.
Electrical Piping & Cabling: Install and maintain electrical piping systems, cable trays, conduits, and wiring in accordance with engineering drawings and standards.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies during all electrical activities.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs; prepare reports as required.
Coordination: Work closely with plant engineers, safety teams, and other contractors to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
Material Handling: Ensure proper handling and storage of electrical materials, spares, and tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years working in Oil & Gas sector, specifically with ADNOC projects or similar high-pressure industrial environments.
Specialization: Expertise in Site DG systems, power supply, electrical piping, and shutdown procedures.
Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) and technical certifications related to electrical systems.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical standards and codes (IEC, NEC), and familiarity with ADNOC safety and operational standards.
Skills: Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
