The Instrument & Control Supervisor oversees the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems within the facility. They ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all instrumentation and control equipment, supporting process automation and plant safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities related to the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues in instrumentation and control equipment to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
Review and update maintenance procedures for instrumentation and control systems.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize control processes.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibrations, and inspections.
Manage and supervise a team of technicians and operators involved in instrumentation maintenance.
Participate in root cause analysis for instrumentation failures and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure proper documentation of control system configurations, drawings, and manuals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in instrumentation and control systems, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and other automation systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of safety standards and regulations related to instrumentation.
Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and coordinate a team.
