Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
Educate and train site personnel on safety practices and compliance.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions, preparing reports accordingly.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Coordinate safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Maintain safety records and documentation required for compliance.
Collaborate with project management to minimize hazards and improve safety standards.
Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Safety Officer in construction projects.
Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
Excellent observational and communication skills.
Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Valid health and safety training certificates.
