The Front Office Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and visitors. Responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and ensuring smooth front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival.
Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Handle reservations via phone, email, or online systems.
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Handle guest complaints and requests courteously and efficiently.
Process billing and payment transactions accurately.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or related fields preferred.
Proven experience as a front desk receptionist, customer service representative, or similar role is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and hotel management software.
Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
