We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory and ensure the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies. The ideal candidate will maintain stock levels, oversee inventory records, and facilitate smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems.
Organize and store stock in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Issue supplies and equipment to departments as per requirements.
Ensure proper safety and security procedures are followed in the warehouse.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage area.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement.
Prepare reports on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.
Assist in inventory planning and forecasting.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields is a plus.
Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in inventory management (typically 0-5 years).
Familiarity with inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
