The Site Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the construction activities on-site to ensure project completion within the stipulated time, budget, and safety standards. The role involves overseeing labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate with subcontractors and workers.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
Monitor progress and provide updates to the Project Manager.
Manage and direct the work of laborers and equipment operators.
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
Report any issues or delays to the project management team.
Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety briefings.
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience as a Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions.
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA safety certification) preferred.
