Cardiologist
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Conduct thorough patient consultations, including reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs.
• Perform and interpret interventional cardiology procedures, as appropriate (depending on subspecialty).
• Collaborate with other medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technicians, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.
• Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines and regulations.
• Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives, as required.
Requirements :
• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a cardiology residency program.
• Board certification in Cardiology (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Cardiologist.
• Valid medical license to practice in Dubai, UAE (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current cardiology practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
