Overview:
An experienced Lead IT System Analyst – SAP FICO to manage, configure, and optimize
SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring seamless integration with other
business systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in SAP FICO, combined with
the ability to collaborate with finance teams, streamline financial processes, and support
regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure and customize SAP FI modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP),
Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Configure SAP CO modules: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting
(PCA), Product Costing (PC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Internal Orders.
• Implement SAP Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) and Bank Communication
Management (BCM) for financial transactions.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PM, IS-Oil).
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to translate business
requirements into SAP FICO configurations.
• Optimize financial closing processes, cash flow management, and cost allocation methodologies.
• Support compliance with tax and regulatory standards (VAT, IFRS, SOX, local GAAP).
• Perform system health checks, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for financial data
discrepancies.
• Manage and support SAP Fiori applications related to finance and controlling.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting using SAP BW, SAP SAC, and Power BI.
• Create custom financial statements and cost reports to meet management needs.
• Support audits and compliance reporting through accurate data extraction and presentation.
• Provide end-user training, manuals, and process documentation for SAP FICO functionalities.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for finance and accounting teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in SAP FICO with extensive hands-on configuration.
• Proven experience in SAP Treasury, Risk Management, and Bank Communication Management.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and controlling processes.
• Expertise in financial reporting tools (SAP BW, SAP SAC, Power BI).
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (VAT, IFRS, SOX, local GAAP).
• Ability to lead, mentor, and conduct training sessions.
