We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Document Controller to manage all project documentation efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction projects, ensuring that all documents are accurately maintained, controlled, and accessible for project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain document control procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Receive, review, register, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents.
Maintain an organized and secure filing system for all project documentation.
Ensure all documents are properly numbered, indexed, and stored electronically and physically.
Control access to documents and manage document versions to prevent unauthorized alterations.
Assist project teams in retrieving and submitting documents as required.
Monitor and track document status, ensuring timely updates and approvals.
Prepare reports on document status and distribution as needed.
Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders regarding document control matters.
Ensure compliance with company standards, legal regulations, and contractual requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in construction projects.
Strong knowledge of document control systems and software (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, Procore, or similar).
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in document handling.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
