The Teaching Assistant supports classroom teachers in delivering educational programs, assisting students with learning activities, and maintaining a conducive learning environment. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their educational experience and ensuring smooth classroom operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in preparing teaching materials and classroom displays.
Support individual or groups of students with their learning activities.
Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and other activities.
Help manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline.
Provide additional support to students with special educational needs.
Assist in assessing student progress and maintaining records.
Support the setup and cleanup of classroom activities and resources.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in education or related fields preferred.
Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.
