The Sustainability Administrative Assistant provides crucial support to the organization’s sustainability initiatives by managing administrative tasks, coordinating communications, maintaining records, and assisting in the implementation of environmental and social responsibility programs. This role ensures smooth operation of sustainability projects and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and organization of sustainability reports, presentations, and documentation.
Maintain and update records related to environmental compliance, sustainability metrics, and initiatives.
Coordinate meetings, schedules, and communication with internal teams and external partners involved in sustainability projects.
Support data collection and analysis related to energy use, waste management, carbon footprint, and other sustainability indicators.
Assist in the preparation of training materials and awareness campaigns on sustainability practices.
Track progress against sustainability goals and assist in preparing progress reports.
Help organize community outreach programs, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability events.
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and consultants involved in sustainability activities.
Ensure compliance with environmental policies and assist in audits or assessments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in administrative support or sustainability-related roles is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Knowledge of sustainability concepts and environmental regulations is desirable.
