At Yamanote Atelier, where Japanese artistry meets artisanal baking, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Head Baker to lead our bakery team and elevate our craft.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Bakery: Manage daily production, quality control, inventory, and food safety.
Innovate & Inspire: Develop new recipes, seasonal collections, and menus that reflect Yamanote’s unique Japanese-inspired identity.
Manage & Mentor: Guide, train, and motivate a team of bakers, fostering excellence and growth.
Collaborate: Work closely with chefs, management, and sales to align bakery operations with restaurant, B2B, and catering needs.
Uphold Excellence: Ensure every product meets the highest standards in flavor, texture, and presentation.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in leading a high-volume artisanal bakery.
Strong background in restaurants, cafés, or food service.
Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about baking and flavor development.
Skilled leader with excellent communication and team-building abilities.
Knowledge of Japanese baking techniques is a plus (curiosity and adaptability are key).
