We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Architectural Designer with a BSc in Architecture and over 20 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will lead architectural design projects from concept through completion, ensuring innovative, functional, and sustainable architectural solutions that meet client needs and adhere to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of architectural concepts, design schemes, and detailed drawings for large-scale projects.
Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
Oversee the entire design process, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, interior design, and construction to ensure seamless project integration.
Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and designers.
Conduct design presentations and communicate concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.
Stay updated with emerging design trends, materials, and sustainable practices.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
Qualifications:
BSc in Architecture (Master’s degree preferred).
20+ years of professional experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of large-scale projects.
Proven leadership and project management skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and sustainable design principles.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and inspire a design team.
Experience in client liaison and project negotiations.
