Key Responsibilities:
Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments for infrastructure projects.
Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for site personnel.
Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports with root cause analysis.
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and project-specific safety plans.
Coordinate safety audits and inspections; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Maintain safety documentation and records.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Safety Engineer, Safety Officer, or similar role in infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of local safety laws and international standards (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to conduct safety training and site inspections effectively.
Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
