Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review materials specifications and procurement strategies.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material quality and delivery timelines.
Conduct vendor evaluations and material inspections.
Support procurement activities ensuring materials meet project standards.
Oversee storage, handling, and logistics of critical materials.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Prepare reports on material status, quality issues, and procurement progress.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience: 8+ years in Materials Engineering within Oil & Gas EPC projects, specifically for refinery applications.
Sector Background: Proven experience managing materials in EPC refinery environments with GCC exposure.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
Skills: Strong understanding of materials specifications, quality control, and procurement processes.
GCC Experience: Familiarity with local standards, supplier networks, and logistics.
Availability: Immediate or short notice preferred.
