We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of imaging techniques, equipment, and patient care protocols to deliver accurate and high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment such as X-ray, MRI, CT, and ultrasound machines.
Capture high-quality images following established protocols and safety standards.
Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain optimal images.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment regularly.
Review images for quality and clarity before submitting for interpretation.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
Assist in the maintenance of the imaging department, including stock management and equipment servicing.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and support diagnoses.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology.
Valid certification/license from relevant health authorities.
Proven experience in diagnostic imaging procedures.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Attention to detail and technical proficiency.
Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations with care.
