Family Medicine Specialist – DOH

Job location : UAE

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide holistic medical care to patients of all ages, from children to seniors.
• Conduct routine check-ups, physical examinations, and health screenings.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Offer preventive healthcare services, including vaccinations and lifestyle counseling.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient medical records.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment options.
• Manage urgent and emergency cases within the primary care scope.
• Adhere to medical regulations, ethical standards, and clinical guidelines.

Qualifications :

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Valid license to practice medicine in the UAE (DOH, DHA, or MOH).
• Board certification in Family Medicine (preferred).
• Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience in family medicine or primary care.
• Strong diagnostic, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
