Medical Insurance Coordinator
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
key responsibilities :
• Verify patients’ insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with insurance companies to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Liaise with patients to explain insurance coverage, co-pays, and out-of-pocket expenses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records in the clinic’s system.
• Resolve insurance-related issues, such as claim denials or discrepancies, by working with insurance providers and patients.
• Prepare and submit accurate insurance billing reports and statements.
• Coordinate with the medical team to ensure all necessary documentation is provided for claims.
• Assist in the preparation of insurance contracts and agreements for new and existing insurance providers.
• Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and regulations, particularly in the UAE healthcare sector.
Qualification :
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• Minimum 2 year experience in an insurance coordination or billing role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare insurance policies, claims processes, and healthcare regulations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
