Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Factory Manager at a Tea manufacturing company. The candidate's past experience must be in the FMCG industry as a factory manager. The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing production planning, quality control, and production management. The day-to-day tasks include managing operations, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations, and maintaining quality standards. Additional responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating manufacturing processes, and optimizing production workflows.
Qualifications and Requirements
1- Planning and General Supervision
• Develop operational and production plans for the factory in line with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Monitor the implementation of production plans and ensure they proceed according to set timelines.
• Manage the operational budget and monitor production costs.
2- Production Operations Management
• Supervise all packaging stages (sorting, weighing, filling, packaging, storage).
• Ensure production lines comply with quality standards and required specifications.
• Monitor the efficiency of equipment and packaging lines and take necessary measures for regular maintenance.
3- Quality and Food Safety
• Apply quality systems (ISO, HACCP, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health requirements.
• Follow up on control procedures for raw materials and final products.
4- Human Resources Management
• Supervise factory staff (supervisors, technicians, workers).
• Develop training plans and enhance employee skills.
• Evaluate employee performance and motivate them to ensure higher productivity.
5- Occupational Health and Safety
• Monitor the implementation of occupational safety standards for workers.
• Minimize risks and protect employees from accidents.
• Ensure the factory complies with Civil Defense and industrial safety regulations.
6- Supply Chain Management
• Monitor the factory’s needs for raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure stock availability on time.
• Monitor stock levels and improve warehouse management.
7- Reporting and Analysis
• Prepare periodic reports on production, quality, and costs.
• Analyze performance indicators (KPIs) to take corrective actions.
• Submit reports to top management, including recommendations and required improvements.
8- Continuous Improvement and Development
• Seek opportunities to develop production lines and increase efficiency.
• Propose technical and engineering solutions to improve product quality and reduce waste.
• Keep up with the latest packaging technologies in the tea industry and apply what is suitable.
