The Patient Access Executive is responsible for facilitating a seamless patient intake process, verifying insurance coverage, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience from entry to discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Collect and verify patient personal and insurance information.
Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment calendar.
Confirm insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations when necessary.
Explain hospital policies and procedures to patients.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to appointments or billing.
Coordinate with medical staff and departments to ensure timely patient flow.
Follow up on pending authorizations and documentation.
Comply with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration or related field.
Prior experience in patient registration, front office, or healthcare customer service preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of insurance procedures, billing, and coding is a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare management software.
