We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design, installation, and maintenance of firefighting systems including fire pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrant networks, and fire suppression systems, in compliance with international and local codes (e.g., NFPA, Saudi Civil Defense regulations).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, review, and oversee the implementation of mechanical firefighting systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Prepare detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for fire protection systems.
Conduct hydraulic calculations for sprinkler and hydrant systems using appropriate software (e.g., Elite Fire, PipeNet).
Ensure compliance with NFPA, Saudi Civil Defense, and other relevant standards and codes.
Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems on site.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Prepare submittals, method statements, and material approvals for firefighting equipment and systems.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities for inspections, approvals, and handover.
Conduct periodic maintenance inspections and troubleshoot mechanical firefighting systems.
Keep up to date with the latest technologies and practices in the fire protection industry.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the fire protection industry, preferably in KSA or GCC.
Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, Saudi Building Code, and Civil Defense requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software.
Familiarity with international firefighting equipment and systems.


Preferred Certifications:

NFPA certifications (e.g., NFPA 13, 20)
Fire Pump and Suppression System Training
HSE Awareness Certification
