The Facility Engineer is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of all engineering, maintenance, and operational activities related to building systems and infrastructure. They ensure that all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and safety systems.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
Develop and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for repairs, upgrades, and installations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
Plan and execute facility improvement projects, including renovations and upgrades.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to facility systems.
Assist in the planning and implementation of energy-saving initiatives.
Support emergency response and disaster recovery planning for facilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in facilities management, engineering, or maintenance.
Knowledge of building management systems, safety standards, and regulations.
