The Piping Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing piping systems in industrial projects. They ensure that piping designs meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards, and coordinate with other engineering disciplines to deliver project objectives on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop piping layouts and detailed drawings using CAD software.
Review and interpret engineering specifications, codes, and standards.
Perform stress analysis, flexibility analysis, and pipe support design.
Prepare and review procurement specifications and technical tender documents.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure proper installation and commissioning.
Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and compliance.
Troubleshoot piping issues during construction and operation.
Ensure all piping work adheres to safety standards and environmental regulations.
Maintain documentation related to piping design, modifications, and inspections.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil/Process Engineering or related field.
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in piping design and engineering, preferably in oil & gas, power, or chemical industries.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, PDMS, SmartPlant, or similar).
Knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
