Storekeeper Cum Purchaser

Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Maintain accurate stock levels by performing regular inventory checks and audits
• Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure quality and quantity compliance with purchase orders
• Source and procure materials, supplies, and equipment in a cost-effective and timely manner
• Build and maintain relationships with approved suppliers to ensure timely and reliable deliveries
• Coordinate with various departments (kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to fulfil material requirements
• Keep detailed records of stock movement, purchases, and vendor transactions
• Monitor expiry dates, damage, and wastage, and ensure proper storage of all inventory items
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on stock status and purchasing activities
• Ensure all purchasing and storekeeping activities comply with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and audit requirements
• Support cost control initiatives by identifying areas for savings and inventory optimization
