Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Security Management/Risk Management or Equivalent. ASIS CPP/PSP certification desired.
20 years in industrial security, in senior positions and at least 10 years of consultancy experience with international exposure.
Candidates must be bilingual (Arabic and English)
Candidates must be available in Kuwait
Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Provide subject matter expertise on enterprise security risk management, threat assessment, and vulnerability assessment, determining and analyzing consequences. Conduct security risk assessment of facilities, threat assessment, evaluate effectiveness of existing security measures; prepare risk assessment reports including risk mitigation measures. Provides expert advice for designing physical security plan/facility security plan to protect critical infrastructure.
b) Provide expertise on security planning, strategy preparation, security performance metrics. Identifies long-term security needs, prepares security objectives, and prepares security performance metrics.
c) Provides guidance to minimize security risks to employees and facilities, expertise on security crisis management, crisis management planning, resource requirements and crisis response measures and trainings. Develop security elements of business recovery plans, crisis management plans.
d) Provide expert advice on security audits, evaluation of effectiveness of corporate security measures and provides complete related recommendations. Expertise on developing security policies and security procedures for protection of Company assets and develops quality and performance standards.
e) Identifies safeguards needed to protect Company assets, identifies equipment needed to protect assets, and evaluates effectiveness of existing equipment. Identifies and determines appropriate protective measures to prevent, reduce, detect and respond including cost estimates.
f) Reviews security policies, strategies and procedures. Writes security procedures search procedures, investigative procedures, and security elements of crisis management plans. Identifies response needs by analyzing data, considering probabilities, impacts and developing priorities.
g) Develops statistical data and analyses security conditions and circumstances. Develops a system for monitoring threats and for classification of security incidents. Advice on Company Security Management System development and implementation of the across Company business areas.
h) Provide expert advice on security standards and technical requirements for security of facilities and assets, development of appropriate standards and procedures and development and implementation of the Company Security Management System across Company business areas.
i) Provide expertise in analyzing security conditions, circumstances and characterizing security incidents. Develop procedure for conducting investigations, procedures for obtaining information and develops systems for maintain statistical data and records for security incidents.
