Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor degree in Security Engineering/Security Management/Risk Management or Equivalent.
20 years in industrial security, in senior positions and at least 10 years of consultancy experience with international exposure.
Candidates must be bilingual (Arabic and English)
Candidates must be available in Kuwait
Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Provide technical expertise for security risks assessments, vulnerability assessment, determining and analyzing consequences. Determine risk mitigation measures including technical solutions to effectively address security risks. Participate in security risk assessment surveys, evaluate existing technical security systems, identify deficiencies, determine technical solutions/upgrades, prepare cost benefit analysis reports, bill of quantities and prepare cost estimates,
b) Provide expertise on international standards covering security management systems, access control systems, integrated systems, perimeter intruder detection systems, CCTV systems, portable detection systems, security lighting & control rooms. Technical expertise for developing Company security standards and technical requirements for security of facilities and buildings,
c) Provide technical expertise in evaluating security systems. Provide expertise for operation and maintenance of physical and electronic security systems such as fences, gates, barriers, blockers, vehicular and pedestrian access control systems, surveillance systems, recording systems, detection systems, automatic number plate recognition system, command and control systems, perimeter intruder detection systems, security management systems, video management software and hardware security systems integration. Evaluates and recommends the most recent technological equipment, systems.
d) Provide expertise for technical review of security elements in Company projects. This includes review of technical specifications, technical drawings and provide appropriate security recommendations/solutions corresponding to the security risks. Ensure projects comply with applicable security requirements and standards. Attend project review meetings and provide specialist technical security advice during the planning stages of new construction projects. Witness site acceptance tests of security elements in Company projects.
e) Provide expertise on security systems integration, security lighting levels, video surveillance , digital recording, data base storage & management, video signal devices & accessories, video management software and hardware, telemetry, alarm systems,
f) Provide expertise on maintenance requirements for security systems. Provide training requirements for security systems operators, administrators and technical maintenance personnel.
