Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement site-specific safety plans.
Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for workers.
Regularly inspect site conditions and safety practices.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and ensure corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with local safety laws and standards.
Maintain safety documentation and records.
Coordinate with project management to improve safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Safety Officer in construction or road projects.
Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to identify hazards and implement control measures.
