Role Overview
As part of a UAE expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Finance Controller / Manager to sit on the leadership team and own financial stewardship for the region. This is a senior, hands-on position that combines strategic oversight with operational execution — you will shape processes, strengthen controls, and provide the financial insight needed to support rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly reporting cycles, ensuring timely consolidation and clear variance explanations.
• Design, implement, and maintain internal controls and compliance processes to meet regulatory and audit expectations.
• Drive financial governance and performance initiatives that improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Provide strong financial business partnering — translate financial results into actionable recommendations for operational leaders.
• Conduct cost and profitability analysis to inform pricing, investment and resource-allocation decisions.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Build, mentor, and guide the finance team to raise capability and accountability across deliverables.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 10+ years in senior finance leadership roles (e.g., Finance Controller, Head of Finance, Senior FP&A Manager).
• Proven expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal control frameworks.
• Track record of driving stronger financial governance and measurable performance improvements.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent stakeholder management and communication — comfortable presenting to senior management.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems and financial tools (ERP/BI experience preferred).
• Professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/CFA) and a relevant degree are desirable.
• Ability to operate in a dynamic, growth-focused environment with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
