Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure products meet quality standards.
Analyze production data and implement corrective actions to address bottlenecks or defects.
Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to support product development and manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in the production area.
Maintain and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and recommend solutions.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely availability of materials.
Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Train and supervise production staff on new processes and equipment.
Utilize manufacturing software and tools for process monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
Experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in MS Office and production management software (ERP, MES).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
