QA/QC Engineer

Job Location : Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Review drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and site quality audits; raise and close NCRs.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation (ITPs, checklists, inspection reports, NCRs, CARs).
• Monitor subcontractors and suppliers for adherence to quality requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities on quality matters.
• Support internal/external audits and ensure timely corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide quality awareness training to site teams and compile final handover dossiers.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 3–7 years of QA/QC experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Exposure to multi-disciplinary works (civil, structural, MEP) preferred.
• Certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ASQ, CSWIP, AWS are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of international construction standards and QA/QC systems (e.g., ITPs, WPS/PQR where applicable).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills; proficiency with MS Office.
