We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Islamic Studies Teacher to educate students on the principles, history, and teachings of Islam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that promote understanding of Islamic values, culture, and ethics, while fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver comprehensive lessons on Islamic theology, jurisprudence (Fiqh), Quranic studies, Hadith, and Islamic history
Develop lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the curriculum and educational standards
Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and discussions related to Islamic teachings
Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and class participation
Promote Islamic morals, ethics, and values in the classroom
Organize and supervise religious activities, events, and field trips
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment
Communicate regularly with parents and school administration about student progress
Stay updated on Islamic scholarship and pedagogical best practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Islamic Studies, Shariah, Theology, or Education
Teaching certification or experience in Islamic education (preferred)
Strong knowledge of the Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic history
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage students of different age groups and backgrounds
Fluent in Arabic and/or English (depending on the medium of instruction)
