We are seeking a versatile and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Assistant cum Admin Assistant. This dual-role position involves supporting the finance department with accounting tasks while also managing day-to-day administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.
Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Reconcile accounts and assist with bank statements
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities
Maintain records of receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
Assist with payroll processing and vendor payments
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
Administrative Duties:
Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars
Organize and maintain filing systems and documentation
Manage office supplies and coordinate procurement
Support preparation of reports, presentations, and official documents
Assist in coordinating office events and travel arrangements
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data and documentation
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and office management
