The HSE Engineer is responsible for ensuring that health, safety, and environmental standards are implemented, maintained, and improved across all work sites and operations. This role involves identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, developing safety procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce compliance with safety policies, procedures, and legal regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments on-site.
Participate in incident/accident investigations and report findings with corrective and preventive actions.
Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks for workers and staff.
Assist in the development and implementation of HSE plans and emergency response procedures.
Review and approve safety method statements, job safety analysis (JSA), and work permits.
Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is properly used and maintained.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
Minimum [X] years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in [industry-specific: construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, etc.].
Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) is preferred or required.
Good understanding of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
First aid and fire safety training certification is a plus.
