The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the project meets required quality standards and client specifications. This includes developing and implementing quality procedures, conducting inspections, preparing reports, and coordinating with various departments to resolve quality-related issues. The role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements
Conduct material inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections
Monitor and report on quality performance and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ISO, ASME, API)
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, NCRs, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and test records
Participate in internal and external quality audits
Ensure proper calibration and use of measuring instruments and equipment

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant discipline)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within [industry type, e.g., construction, oil & gas, manufacturing]
Knowledge of international standards (ISO 9001, ASME, AWS, ASTM, etc.)
Certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, CSWIP, NDT Level II/III, or equivalent are a plus
