The Architecture Technical Office Team Leader oversees the technical architectural team responsible for producing detailed design documentation, drawings, and specifications. This role ensures the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of technical outputs, while coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to support project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the technical office team to prepare architectural drawings, details, and specifications.
Review and approve technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to integrate design disciplines.
Ensure adherence to architectural codes, regulations, and best practices.
Facilitate the implementation of design changes and updates throughout project phases.
Monitor progress and quality of technical deliverables to meet project deadlines.
Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.
Liaise with contractors and site teams to resolve technical issues during construction.
Maintain documentation control and organize project records.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and client communications.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
Proven experience in architectural technical office roles, preferably in a leadership capacity.
Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and materials.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD) and other design tools.
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
