The Engineering Supervisor oversees a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the effective planning, execution, and completion of engineering and maintenance tasks. This role is responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting the Engineering Manager in delivering technical solutions across projects or facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of engineering teams, technicians, or contractors
Assign tasks and monitor daily maintenance or engineering work to ensure timely completion
Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment or systems
Ensure all work is performed according to engineering standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Support project execution by reviewing technical drawings, scope of work, and resource requirements
Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and operational efficiency
Provide technical guidance and training to engineering staff
Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, equipment performance, and work orders
Liaise with other departments such as production, HSE, and procurement
Report on engineering team performance, progress, and equipment status to management
