Registered Nurses provide comprehensive patient care in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. They assess patients’ health conditions, administer medications and treatments, assist doctors, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate medical records. RNs ensure patient safety, support recovery, and promote health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and record medical histories
Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed
Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures
Educate patients and families on health management, medications, and post-treatment care
Monitor patient progress and report changes to healthcare team
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
Ensure infection control and adhere to safety and hygiene standards
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life support as needed
