The Floor Manager is responsible for supervising daily operations on the floor to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. This role involves managing staff, addressing customer needs, enforcing company policies, and driving sales or service performance. The Floor Manager acts as the bridge between upper management and front-line employees, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day floor operations to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service.
Supervise, train, and motivate floor staff to meet performance and customer service goals.
Delegate tasks and assign shifts to ensure proper coverage.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or disciplinary action when needed.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
Report sales, operational issues, or staffing concerns to upper management.
Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention strategies.
Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies, and floor presentation standards.
Support recruitment and onboarding of new floor staff as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or food service.
