The HR Officer is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This includes managing recruitment processes, employee records, payroll assistance, performance management, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies. The HR Officer acts as a key point of contact for employee inquiries and helps maintain a productive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the recruitment process by posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding.
Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and ensure proper documentation.
Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant data such as attendance, leaves, and benefits.
Coordinate employee engagement activities, training sessions, and performance appraisal processes.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Address employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, leaves, and other employment matters.
Assist in drafting HR letters (offer letters, employment contracts, warning letters, etc.).
Participate in audits by preparing necessary HR documentation and reports.
Monitor attendance, leave management, and disciplinary actions.
Liaise with government and regulatory bodies for statutory compliance (e.g., PF, ESI, gratuity).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
4 - 6 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
Good knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Familiarity with HR software (HRMS/HRIS systems).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
High level of confidentiality and attention to detail.
