Key Responsibilities
Teach high-quality, student-centred Mathematics lessons in line with the IB philosophy and curriculum requirements.
Inspire curiosity, logical reasoning, and critical thinking through varied teaching methods.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusivity and support.
Integrate technology and modern teaching strategies to enhance learning experiences.
Assess student progress through projects, assignments, and assessments, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues on cross-disciplinary initiatives and contribute to extracurricular opportunities.
Maintain strong communication with parents, school leaders, and the wider school community.
Engage in professional growth and contribute to the school’s ongoing development.
Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related subject, plus a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in an IB or international school environment.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the IB curriculum and inquiry-based learning approaches is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm in students.
Language: Proficiency in English is essential.
