Description:
Lazourdy Contracting is currently seeking a Procurement Engineer (Civil) to become part of their growing construction team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will handle all procurement activities related to civil construction projects — from sourcing and negotiating to purchasing materials and ensuring timely deliveries that align with project specifications and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze project requirements and prepare detailed material requisitions.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers and subcontractors.
• Request quotations, negotiate pricing, and issue purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Work closely with site engineers and project teams to ensure smooth and timely material supply.
• Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers, pricing data, and procurement documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and quality specifications throughout the procurement process.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of procurement experience in the UAE construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and local supplier networks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement management software tools.
