We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing pipe systems used in various industrial, commercial, and residential applications. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine pipe fabrication requirements.
Measure, cut, bend, and assemble pipes using various hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machinery.
Fabricate pipe components according to design specifications and industry standards.
Inspect pipes and fittings for defects and ensure proper alignment and fit.
Weld, join, or seal pipe sections and fittings using appropriate methods (e.g., TIG, MIG, arc welding).
Maintain fabrication equipment and tools, ensuring safety and functionality.
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to meet project deadlines.
Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Document work performed and materials used in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a pipe fabricator or in a similar role.
Proficient in welding and metal fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in fabrication.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
Relevant certifications (e.g., welding certifications) are a plus.
