We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day site operations and supervise construction activities.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Prepare and maintain site reports, progress schedules, and documentation.
Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges on-site.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
Manage resources, equipment, and manpower to optimize productivity.
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and site staff.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
10 - 12 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with several years in a senior role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proficiency in project management and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus.
