A Senior Project Engineer is responsible for leading and coordinating all phases of engineering projects—from planning and design to execution and handover. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The senior engineer also acts as a liaison between the client, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and manage engineering projects from start to finish
Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements
Supervise on-site work, ensuring alignment with design and safety standards
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, designers, and contractors
Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation
Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Lead and mentor junior engineers and site staff
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
