We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and bilingual (Arabic/English preferred) Special Needs Teacher to join our inclusive education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students of determination through individualized learning plans, differentiated instruction, and effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists to promote student success and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s learning needs and goals.
Provide specialized instruction and support for students with diverse learning difficulties, disabilities, or behavioural challenges.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure inclusive teaching practices and appropriate classroom accommodations.
Utilize assistive technology and adaptive learning tools to support student engagement and progress.
Conduct regular assessments and progress reviews, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Promote positive behaviour management and a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
Communicate regularly with parents, counselors, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Participate in school-wide inclusion initiatives, professional development, and student support meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Valid MOE teaching license or eligibility to obtain one.
Minimum 2 years of experience working with students of determination in an inclusive or special education setting.
Strong knowledge of IEP development, classroom differentiation, and behaviour management strategies.
Proficiency in assistive technology and inclusive instructional methods.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual (Arabic / English) candidates are preferred.
