The Junior Sous Chef supports the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards. The role involves supervising kitchen staff, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring that dishes are prepared consistently to meet the establishment’s standards.
All candidates must have the right to live and work in the UAE, and be passionate about food and hospitality. Experience in high-end, European-style cafés and bistros is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Monitor food quality, taste, and portioning to maintain consistency.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and ensure adherence to kitchen procedures.
Assist in menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen.

Requirements:
Diploma or Graduate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Prior experience in a professional kitchen, preferably as a commis chef or similar role.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, recipes, and modern culinary trends.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and team management skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Right to live and work in the UAE.
Experience in high-end, European-style cafés and bistros preferred.
