We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Neurology Specialist to join a reputable healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Neurology Specialist is responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with disorders of the nervous system, including diseases of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles. The role involves providing expert clinical care, performing neurological assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized neurological assessment, diagnosis, and management for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions.
Treat disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and headaches.
Perform and interpret neurological diagnostic procedures such as EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines and patient needs.
Coordinate care with neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals as required.
Manage inpatient and outpatient neurology cases with appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.
Educate patients and families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical documentation and patient records.
Participate in departmental meetings, teaching sessions, clinical audits, and quality improvement activities.
Ensure adherence to medical ethics, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school.
Specialization: Board-certified or Fellowship in Neurology.
Licensure: Valid license or eligibility to practice as a Neurology Specialist in [country/region].
