Job Summary
The Tekla Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for hot-rolled steel sections. The role involves collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* 3D Modeling: Create detailed 3D models of hot-rolled steel sections using Tekla Structures software.
* Fabrication Drawings: Produce accurate fabrication and assembly drawings that meet project specifications.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify design intent and resolve issues.
* Quality Assurance: Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
* Material Take-offs: Prepare material lists and quantities for procurement and production planning.
* Revision Management: Update and manage revisions to drawings and models as per project changes.
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations and correspondence.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
* Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in steel detailing, specifically with hot-rolled sections.
* Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures and familiarity with other detailing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
* Knowledge of Standards: In-depth understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., AISC, AWS) and building codes.

Working Conditions
