Key Responsibilities:
Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates
Analyze materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
Prepare quantity take-offs and bill of materials
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scope and requirements
Develop and maintain cost databases and historical records
Ensure estimates comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Identify potential cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities
Assist in bid preparation and tender submissions
Monitor project costs during execution and provide cost control support
Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients
Qualification:
Diploma or Graduate in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Certifications in estimation, cost management, or project management are a plus
