Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction within the UAE/GCC
Proven track record in handling large-scale projects for reputed organizations
Strong ability to build relationships with consultants and authorities
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and meticulous working style
Fidic & Contract-related certifications are highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret contract documents (specifications, drawings, BOQ, etc.)
Raise RFIs to consultants for design clarifications when needed
Advise the Project Manager and Construction Manager on technical matters
Ensure all technical submittals comply with project specifications and schedules
Coordinate and manage technical issues/submittals with subcontractors and suppliers (Civil & MEP)
Arrange and submit materials and technical documentation as per project requirements
Supervise and guide Draftsmen in preparing shop drawings
Support Construction & QC teams in preparing method statements
Follow up with consultants and clients to obtain necessary approvals
Maintain and manage all engineering logs in coordination with the planning team
Prepare and submit As-Built drawings as per contract requirements
Review and evaluate contract changes and prepare reports
Conduct regular coordination meetings with subcontractors
Initiate technical meetings with consultants to resolve design issues
Contribute actively to achieving overall project goals and deadlines
